The scriptures concerning the Lord Jesus Christ may be classified in three groups.  There are those passages which teach the inferiority of  Christ because he voluntarily became incarnate, was born as a baby, grew as a child, hungered, thirsted, grew tired, slept soundly, and suffered every temptations common to man. In this truly human condition the Father was greater than he, and he constantly sought the leading of the Father.  John 14:38, Luke  2:40,  Mark 13:32, John 5:19, 8:42, and 16:28. A second group of texts affirms that  Jesus Christ, before the foundation of the world, was distinct from the Father. He was distinguishable as the Word from the speaker of the word John 1:1 As a uniquely begotten Son from his Father, John 1:14. As one who had priority not in time, but in rank, over all created things Colossians 1:15, Revelation 3:14, as the shining is distinguishable from the sun, and as a perfect image is distinguishable from that which it portrays, Hebrews 1:3. In view of such passages the doctrine of the trinity states that the Father and Son are eternally distinct as persons. In this respect the word of God regularly recognizes and order, placing the Father First, The Son Second, and The Holy spirit Third. But a third group of scriptures teaches that the Father and Son are not two separate beings or Gods, but rather one essence and spiritual substance.  In this respect the Son is equally God. This unity of the God Head is not burst asunder by the threefold eternal distinctions nor by the incarnation of the Son. Rather, as the doctrine of the trinity explains, The God Head is one in respect to essence, three in respect to personal distinctions, and three in respect to roles in the creative and redemptive programs. Jesus Christ The Son Of God Peter's confession in Matthew 16:16,17 that Jesus is the Son of God was commended by Jesus Himself. This verse does not teach that all of God’s creatures are sons of God. Even the demons confessed that Jesus was the Son of God, due to his power over them. Matthew 8:29, Mark 4.41.Mark recognized the deity of Jesus Christ in Mark 1:1. Read also Luke 22:70 and Mark 14:61, when Jesus confessed that He is the Son of God. The angle announced before the birth of Jesus that he was to be the Son of God. Jesus claimed that He was the Son of God in Matthew 27:40, Mark 14:61-62, Luke 22:70, John 5:25, 10:36, and 11:4 The Deity Of Jesus Christ The scriptures clearly teaches that Jesus Christ was divine and had the attributes which are only ascribed to DEITY! The first chapter of Colossians will refute anyones denial of the Deity of Jesus Christ. 1. Divine Names Are Given To Him:  John 1:1, 1:8, and 20:28,  I John 5:20, Romans 9:5, Hebrews 1:8, and Titus 2:13. Eight hundred years before Jesus Christ was born, Isaiah prophesied that He would be born of a virgin and gave Him such names as Wonderful Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace Isaiah 7:14, 9:6. This prophecy was fulfilled in Matthew 1:22,23, 2. Jesus Christ was Pre-Existent With His Father:  Colossians 2:9, and John 8:58. 3. Power Over The Forces Of Nature:  Matthew 14:33. 4. Jesus Possesses The Life Giving Power Over Deity:   John 5:21 and 26, John  17: 3 to 5,  and John 10:17-18, and  Hebrews 7:16. 5. Power Over Disease: Luke 4:38 to 44. 6. Power Over Death: John 11 Jesus Christ Possesses Divine Attributes 1. Omnipotence - All Powerful:  Matthew 28:18, Revelations 1:8, John 17:2, Ephesians 1:20 to 22, and  Hebrews 1:3 and 2:8. 2. Omniscience - He Knows All Things: John 1: 48, John 4:16 to 19, John 16:30, Matthew 24-25 Colossians 2:3 3. Omnipresence - He Is Able To Be Present Everywhere At The Same Time: Matthew:18:20, 28:20 1 Corinthians 1:2, Ephesians 1:23 The Dual Personality Of Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is to be acknowledge in two natures, inconfusedly, unchangeable, indivisibly, inseparably - the distinction of the natures being in no wise taken away bye the union, but rather the property of each nature being preserved, and concurring in one person and one subsistence, not parted or divided into two persons. A study of the human and divine attributes of Jesus will prove that they are centered in one Person or Personality. In Romans 1:3-4, Galatians :4-5, Philippians 2:6-11, the two natures of Christ are referred to as being one Personality The bible further teaches in John 1:14, Romans 8:3, Galatians 4:4, 9:5, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 2:11-14 and 1 John 4:2-3 that the divine person of Christ was united to a human nature.
