Most of Today’s Christianity Church’s stops at verses 15 and 16. The verses 17 18 are ignored. I believe all four of them apply today as they were then. 17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Hello And Welcome To Seek The Truth Online. My name is Rocky. I am 62 years young. I was born in State of Colorado. My grand father was a country preacher from that state, as I was told by my father's sister years later. I have never gone to any school to learn the word of God. I am not a pastor, preacher, or prophet. At this time I am only a teacher, a humble servant of My God and My Lord. On and off over the years, I went to different denominational churches to hear the word of God, and I believed what the pastors were preaching was the truth. Later on after going from one church to another, I had a hard time understanding what the pastors were teaching. It was confusing to me, to hear the same teachings on the same subject, from two different churches. Almost always they were two different teachings. Has this ever happened to you? In the 80s I went to a Pentecostal church, (I am NOT denominational!) After attending this church for a while, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I had a very hard time understanding the Bible as I only have a 10-grade education. One day a brother in the lord said to me read the Gospel of John. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. I did not understand this verse, as I continued on reading the book of John, I stopped at John 14:26. I read this verse over and over. John 14: 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. I asked My Heavenly Father to have the Holy Spirit to teach me. I went back to John 1: I read the verse again, the Holy Spirit opened my Spirit of understanding the Word of God. As I went from church to church, watched TV, or listen to the radio. I was able to know in the Spirit if these teachings were the spirit truth or spirit of error. 1 John 4: 5. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. There are so many different denominations or demon nations as I call them. The pastor, preacher, or teacher was teaching in the spirit of error, when they should have been preaching, or teaching in the Spirit of Truth!! To this day I have not found one pastor, preacher, or teacher who spoke the truth until now. When you finished visiting my site you will know whom I am talking about. In order to understand the Word of God you must be baptized with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, so that He can teach you the Word of God! The word says, in order to be saved you must be baptized of water and the Spirit Matthew 3: 16. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. John 3: 1.There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4. Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6.
