Covenant Of The Blood (Old Testament) Exodus 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. Covenant Of The Blood (New Testament) When was the last time you heard a sermon on the blood of the old testament (covenant?) What about a sermon on the blood of the new testament (covenant). I have only heard two sermons about the blood of the covenant. In the early 1900s the hymnbooks of that time had alot of songs about the precious atoning blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. When I went to churches in the mid 1970s there were songs in the hymnbook about the blood. Over the years the songs about the blood were substituted with the new songs. This is the work of satan himself. Satan broke up the Christian church into many denominations, why not take out the songs in the hymn books about the atoning Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your might ask what is so important about singing songs about the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. The answer is: 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Ezekiel 44:7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. Zechariah 9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart for God. My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified by the blood of Jesus. I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son body, soul, and spirit. His blood protects me from all evil. Because of the blood of Jesus, Satan has no more power over me, no more places in me. I renounce him. And his hosts completely and declare them to be my enemies. Jesus said: “These signs shall follow believers, in my name shall they cast out devils.” I am a believer, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I exercise my authority and expel all evil spirits. I command them to leave me now, according to the word of God and in the name of Jesus Christ. The precious atoning blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer Of Refusal Against Satan Lord Jesus, today I commit my life to you totally, body, soul, and spirit. I ask that you bend, break, and mold me into the person that you want me to be. Satan, I come against you and all your hosts and reject everything you would have for me today. I refuse all the snares, pits and traps you have set to draw me away from the Lord Jesus Christ. I rebuke you, satan, and all of your hosts, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Father, I ask for your best in my life today and that your will and purposes be done in and through me. I also ask that any sorrow, pain, suffering or affliction which will be used of you to keep me in your perfect will and make me a yielded vessel for your work will come to me today.
